Going Nude is Cool

So many people are jealous of my great job. My bosses, Tom & Mary Clare Mulhall are mentoring me so that I will become a business leader in the hospitality and nude recreation industry. Tom and his wife have taught me so much that not only am I the youngest manager (22 years old) of a clothing optional resort in the U.S., but that I am also the youngest manager of ALL of Palm Springs.

The Terra Cotta Inn is unique in that we understand the needs of younger couples trying nude recreation for the first time or the younger experienced nudists. Our motto is "Only nice customers are booked here, Grouchy people are never allowed" (smile). Nice people always have a fantastic time and that is why our repeat guest rate is so high.

Not only are we considered one of the nicest clothing optional resorts in the U.S., but we are also considered one of the nicest of all resorts. Last September, the Chicago Tribune newspaper selected us as one of the top 10 BEST clothing optional resorts in the world. Then in November, the Vancouver Sun Newspaper in Canada selected us as the BEST clothing optional resort in the States. We had Phoenix's City Magazine select us as one of the top 10 BEST of ALL resorts in the whole west from Seattle to Santa Fe. And Arizona Republic Newspaper of Phoenix selected us as "Palm Springs' Best Hideaway". We had CBSmarketwatch.com report on our being the most mainstream clothing optional resort in the U.S. And on May 13th, 2002, Newsweek Magazine in a 10 page article about the BEST small businesses in the U.S. called "Small Business, Big Results," started off the article with us. They wrote a 3/4 page feature article called "Size Matters: Small is Good." My boss even had his bare butt in Newsweek. So it is really cool that nudists get to stay at one of the BEST resorts in the U.S.

The major reason more young women are not comfortable with nude sunbathing in public is that they rarely are exposed to the concept that it is OK to be nude in a nonsexual way. I am a Latina. In my culture all women are considered beautiful. We are not brought up to be ashamed of our bodies like in many other countries. Latina's are strong women. Be proud thay you have the courage to go nude. Enjoy the freedom of being clothes free like me. I want young women to feel as comfortable as I do walking around naked. By taking off your clothes, you are taking off all your worries. This is why everyone is so nice here.

As you become comfortable talking to others while you have no clothes on, this confidence carries over to everyday life.

The more people see nude men and women tastefully portrayed enjoying nude sunbathing, the more resorts and beaches will be respected in society.

Remember, going nude is cool so if I can do it, you can do it too!
