Wairau Valley Tavern next door, serves Thai meals in addition to the blackboard dine-in or takeaway menu, also coffee & muffins and a variety of beverages. A typical country pub with a garden bar at the rear, happy hour Friday nights 7.30 to 8.30pm. Soak up the country pub atmosphere with the locals and enjoy a drink in the garden bar.

Leighvander Cottage Garden - Walk from Wai-natur and view their beautiful garden, gallery and shop.

Jeymar Soap Shop in Church Lane, produce an exciting range of natural handmade products.

Wairau Valley Golf Club which is on a public domain is less than ten minutes walk. See Kay or Brian for right or left handed golf clubs. Green fees $15.00 or take a stroll for free! Don't forget the Nude Golf International on 20th February 2011

Mountain-bike excursion around the valley. Ride to Bedford Row and take a leisurely cycle through the vineyards to numerous vineyard restaurants in the valley and through to Rapaura Road for even more!

Wairau River for skinny-dipping and fishing. Take a walk on SH63 to Church Lane corner and turn left. The river is approximately 2km from Wai-natur.

Short walks in the region include Lake Argyle which is about 35km west of Wai-natur. Turn left onto Leatham Road (gravel road which follows The Branches river). 7km to parking lot and swingbridge over the Leatham river. From here on is a pleasant walk alongside The Branches.

Wairau Valley Church welcomes all folk to the Valley to a Service every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 11am.
