When you want to stay overnight at Sunrise you can do that in one of our rooms in the clubhouse or camp on one of our camp sites. Please remember there is a booking fee, enquire about the fee on the contact page.
The Clubhouse
Four clean and tidy bedrooms provide very comfortable accommodation, booking is a must in the summer.
All rooms have a queen bed and two bedrooms also have bunks.
All linen and bedding supplied with the room.
Enquire now about the availability and the fee.
Camp sites
The sunny level sites are north facing with good views. There are also secluded tent sites available.
Power is available on almost all camp sites.
Sunrise has no black & grey wastewater disposal facilities. Wastewater for Motor homes, Campervans, Buses, Caravans and Other Users of Portable Toilets and Waste Holding Tanks, must be disposed elsewhere.
The Clubhouse
Among the many features included at Sunrise is a roomy clubhouse which has an kitchen, indoor games room, sitting areas, TV lounge and four bedrooms.
Kitchen
There is a excellent clean, tidy and fully equipped kitchen facility with a dining area attached. The kitchen facilities includes water cookers, two 4 pit hobs, two microwaves, one oven and also all the plates, bowls and utensils a cook could ever wish for. There is absolutely no need to bring these items with you when you come to Sunrise.
Sitting Area
After a hot day in the sun, relax in our sitting area and take the comfort of our lounge chairs, TV, DVD, video and wood burner.
Games room
Ablution Block
There is a separate shower and laundry block adjacent to the clubhouse which provides ample hot water, heated by wood fire. Although we ask visitors to be careful with the amount they use in the summer as dry weather can sometime lead to a low water supply.
Barbecue area
To combine the natural lifestyle with the kiwi lifestyle, Sunrise has it's own main barbecue area (by the swimming pool). Also a central point for a chat and many events.
Swimming Pool
The centre of the daily social activities is our solar heated 12m long swimming pool. With the depth of 5 foot (1.5m), the pool is ideal for swimming laps, water volleyball or just relaxing.
The decking around the pool is the perfect place for sunbathing.
Spa Pool
For a relaxing time the spa pool seats 8+ people and is shade covered.
Miniten Court
In the centre of the club grounds is our tennis court, for a game of miniten and of course tennis. Mitts are supplied.
Children Play Area's
Children don't have to bored at Sunrise. Besides the swimming pool and the game room in the clubhouse, there is a trampoline, swings, playhouse, bats, balls etc. available.
Bowling Green
Our latest acquisition, is a full length 1 lane outdoor bowling Green. This is set in the middle of the social area. Bowls are available for loan.
Golf Course
The golf course is set among numerous trees and shrubs and is a very pleasant place to be even if you do not usually play golf. There are a number of loan clubs to use.
Don't forget to bring your clubs and be prepared to be challenged. A good selection of clubs would be a no.7 or 9 iron, a wedge, and a putter. Throughout the summer tournaments are arranged and there are prizes for various types of success.

Sunrise, like all clubs in New Zealand, welcomes families. Children are natural naturists. They are completely safe in a naturist environment and adopt a healthy attitude to all people naturally.
