The Club Grounds
Pineglades is an 18 acre (8 ha) landscaped property, with beautiful park like surrounds. Adjacent to the visitor's car park, welcoming guests, is a beautiful rose garden complete with water feature. An arboretum consisting of native plantings and bush walks encourages many birds and is an area for quiet reflection. Bush walks around the perimeter of the grounds make Pineglades a place of relaxation and peace and quiet away from the stresses of today's busy life.
Clubhouse
Our clubhouse is a large communal building, with an expansive sunny deck. It has a large open area, with a table tennis table and darts, as well as a small library. Indoor bowls are also played at times. This area leads to a comfortable lounge, with log burner, TV, pool table and bar facilities. The clubhouse is used for many club functions and also has a kitchen designed to cater for these occasions.
Swimming Pool and Spa/Sauna Complex
We have a 15x6 metre solar heated swimming pool, which has a slide for the children and sail for shade on a hot sunny day. The spa/sauna complex is available all year round for members use. These are situated close to the clubhouse.
Barbeque Area
Our large BBQ area has recently been refurbished and is a lovely sunny spot in the late afternoon, when many members meet to socialise over a drink while cooking their evening meal. There are two large gas BBQs and two burners for cooking vegetables, with a sink and an electric jug to make tea and coffee. The whole cooking area is covered by a huge umbrella.
Shop
A small shop, catering for basic supplies, meat packs for the BBQ and yummy ice-creams for a hot day, is located in the area adjacent to the BBQ and clubhouse.
Children's Playground
The children have a fantastic play area, with a fort, slides and swings. As well, there are two trampolines and a sandpit. They also have their own "clubhouse" where they can play when it is wet.
Sports Courts
There are three miniten courts, a volleyball court and a tennikoit court on the main grassed area. Under the pine trees is a petanque piste, which has three separate pistes. Many members enjoy the relaxation of a game of petanque and on a hot day, this can be a refreshing and social area.
Social naturism is all about freedom
Freedom to be yourself and to be totally at one with nature.
Freedom to be without the restriction of clothes, that limit your movement.
Freedom to have the forces of nature touching your body. The feeling of the sun, wind or water against your body gives the feeling of exhilaration that relieves tension and stress.
Freedom to wander about, as nature intended without the fear of offending anyone.
Freedom to live in a state of undress whenever you like, for as long as you like, amongst like minded people.
Freedom to use the facilities provided at Pineglades to discover that all this is true.
Now why not see how you can achieve all this at Pineglades.
